Placements are generally full-time (280 hours in total) and are completed on weekdays, which not only allows you an opportunity to develop learnt skills but also valuable industry work experience and could lead to employment opportunities. Ready to get started? Before you enrol, ensure you meet our entry requirements for this course below. Entry Requirements Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who: - Hold a: CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; or - CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; or - hold Australian diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an Australian diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services, and demonstrate at least 12 months of cumulative employment (full-time equivalent) within the last 5 years in a regulated education and care service in Australia, supported by verifiable evidence, or hold the CHCSS00147 Entry into Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. - It is encouraged that students are over 18 years of age, if a student is under the age of 18, guardian / parental consent is required. - Students must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or applicable visa holder. - Students must have a sound knowledge of English language, literacy, and numeracy LLN (this information is obtained at the enrolment process, prior to enrolment acceptance by h&h).
